Promotions for Kate and Aga at our Liverpool office

We are proud to be investing in our workforce with two promotions at our Liverpool Office.

Trade mark attorney Kate Cruse has been made partner while Aga Gabarczyk has been promoted to operations manager.

Kate started with Forresters seven years ago at our Merseyside office which was, at that point, located in Hamilton Square, Birkenhead. Shortly afterwards, the office moved to Pier Head, Liverpool, overlooking the River Mersey.

“Forresters has a long history dating back to 1884, and yet keeps a fresh, modern outlook through its young group of partners,” she said. “It is fantastic to become a partner at Forresters as I enjoy the fast-paced and exciting work. Our clients come from every walk of life, and we work with all types of goods and services from batteries and cars to clothing and watches.”

We work with clients ranging from world-renowned local companies such as The Cavern Club, to engineers and designers who are at the forefront of innovation. “I get a buzz from working with businesses that look forward and are ready to protect their Intellectual Property,” said Kate. “They understand the importance and benefits of protecting their trade marks. At Forresters there are no boring days, and no two days the same”.

“It is wonderful being based in Liverpool with its thriving businesses and cultural heritage. Also, everyone in our office works well together – there is a great sense of camaraderie and our clients pick up on this. It’s one reason why we continue to attract and retain some of the most high-profile and innovative businesses in the region and the world.”

Aga joined us three years ago working in our records department and said she enjoys seeing people progress within the company.

“I run the operations for all of Forresters’ offices – in Liverpool, Birmingham, London, and Munich, Germany, and it is rewarding to see people growing in their roles,” she said. “When I first came to Forresters for my interview I appreciated how enthusiastic the partners were about the firm, and the role the records department had to play”.

“They wanted to make operational changes that I was familiar with and I thought I’d enjoy applying my skills and experience to the role. I left my position with an IP firm in London and I haven’t looked back – I love working in Liverpool and I’m pleased to be progressing within such a forward-thinking company.”

Announcing these two promotions, Ross Walker, who heads up the office in Liverpool said, “We are extremely impressed by the respective performances of both Kate and Aga that have culminated in these promotions. Both Kate and Aga are a credit to the firm and to themselves and we are delighted to have them both on board.  I wish them all the best in their new roles and I look forward to seeing them continue to thrive within Forresters IP and playing their part in pushing this exceptional firm forward”.

Congratulations to both of them!
