Forresters supports Worcestershire’s Make It Happen Challenge

The Make It Happen Challenge will see innovative businesses competing to win one of the prizes, which will see them presented with monetary awards and bespoke support packages. We are one of the sponsors of the initiative; contributing prizes worth a total of £2,000 in the health and care, and science and tech categories.

The Make It Happen Challenge (MIHC) is a project organised by WINN, a Worcestershire County Council and Worcestershire LEP programme and was first launched in 2018. Jessica Antley, senior project manager at Worcestershire County Council said: “The Make It Happen Challenge is an amazing opportunity for our winners to work with some of the very best specialists in their field and use the expert advice and business funding given to them to enhance and develop any existing idea, product or service or something completely new. Having Forresters as part of the challenge means not only are the winners in great hands, they get to meet what we know to be a fabulous and friendly team, who really are passionate about making a difference to businesses.”

Dr Jagvir Purewal and Greg Smith will be supporting the winners of the MIHC. Jagvir said: “Forresters has a long tradition of supporting innovative companies, by helping them protect their intellectual property. Through securing the patents and trade marks related to their business we are able to help innovators stay ahead of their competitors and secure success for now, and in the future.” Greg said: “At Forresters, we believe in giving clear and simple advice – our attorneys cut through the jargon and ensure business owners know exactly where they stand. We are delighted to be supporting the Make It Happen Challenge and we look forward to hearing about the entrants and supporting the winners with their business ideas.”
