A campaign to support businesses across the Black Country has received our backing.
We are delighted to have signed up as a business partner of the Black Country 2.0 campaign, which aims to drive resilience and recovery across the region’s businesses. The campaign has been launched by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce to help employers and businesses that are feeling the effects of the Covid-19 emergency and its economic impact.
Emma Johnson, partner in our Birmingham office, said the firm understood the pressures businesses were facing from the ongoing pandemic, as well as the Brexit transition period. “We are thrilled to be announced as the Black Country 2.0 Business Partner for Protecting Intellectual Property,” she said.
“We know that business leaders need information delivered to them clearly, to help them rebuild as quickly and easily as possible. Intellectual property can be a complex area of law to understand, but we are experts at cutting through the jargon and delivering the information so that business leaders can see a clear way forward. With the right guidance, innovative businesses can develop strategies for growth thanks to the benefits that come from having IP protection in place.”
Black Country 2.0 will be running throughout 2021 and includes four events as well as a conference where Forresters, and other business partners, will have the opportunity to share their knowledge and insights. Jude Thompson, president of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are delighted that Forresters has signed up as a business partner of the Black Country 2.0 campaign and will be offering members their expertise and insights into patents, trade marks and registered designs.
“The chamber is the respected and valued voice of the Black Country business community and Black Country 2.0 is a focused and comprehensive programme which celebrates the strengths of our local firms and ensures that those making decisions, which will impact our firms, are fully aware of our needs and challenges.”
