I graduated in 2001 with a Masters degree in mechanical and materials engineering, joining Forresters the same year and becoming a partner in 2013.  I am a patent and trade mark attorney, so my day-to-day work touches on a wide spectrum of IP matters, including UK and EPO prosecution of patent applications and trade mark and design work at the UK IPO and EUIPO.  My specialisms include aerospace, defence, automotive and medical devices as well as consumer goods such as vacuum cleaners.

When I’m not in the office I spend a lot of my time riding my bike and racing in time trials from 5 to 100 miles. I’m often found wearing a somewhat strange looking pointy helmet, all in the pursuit of improved aerodynamics!
