I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2015 with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. My undergraduate thesis was focused on biomedical robotics, for which I was awarded the IMechE Project of the Year 2015.

I joined Forresters in 2018 as a trainee patent attorney, and I qualified as a UK Patent Attorney in 2022.  As a member of the Technology and Engineering team, much of my work focuses on mechanical inventions from a broad range of industries.

Prior to joining Forresters, I worked as a design engineer for one of the market leaders in the factory automation sector.  The skills and knowledge I gained as an engineer has been indispensable for my career as a patent attorney so far, especially when presented with complicated engineering drawings!

Outside of the office, I spend most of my time doing DIY, playing guitar and spending time with friends, family and my dog.
