I work in a wide variety of technical areas, spanning wet chemistry through to mechanical devices and electronics.

My work includes the full range of patent attorney services, including UK and European patent application drafting and prosecution as well as the prosecution of foreign patent applications. I also work on European opposition and appeal cases, patent infringement and entitlement opinions, clearance work, and restoration cases. Additionally, I have experience in design matters: filing registered designs, and registered design and design right infringement and validity opinions.

I have a Master’s and a Doctorate in Chemistry, both from the University of Oxford. My doctorate focussed on the synthesis of materials for organic electronic devices. I’ve been fortunate in that my practice has always included clients working in the electronic materials field. I joined Forresters in 2015 with six years’ experience in private practice.

I am married with two young sons. I enjoy all things trains with my oldest and all things sport with my youngest.
