I joined Forresters in 2013, and specialise in UK and European patent law.

I have experience in all aspects of patent prosecution (including working with agents and examiners in the United States) and European opposition proceedings. I have also been involved with various patent and design infringement matters, ranging from helping a start-up fashion designer to advising a multinational on their ability to commercialise their products.

I have knowledge, in particular, of printing systems, vehicle parts and systems, specialist laboratory equipment and domestic appliances.  Additionally, I have experience of working both with large companies with diverse portfolios and specific workflow requirements, and with small companies / solo-inventors developing their first products.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my dogs, watching films and box sets, planning home renovations and travelling.
