My background is in biochemistry and I also hold an MSc in the management of intellectual property from Queen Mary, London. During my undergraduate studies at Imperial College London, I worked as a research assistant at a major international pharmaceutical company, where I became particularly interested in stem cell technologies.

I joined Forresters in 2006 and since then have specialised in all aspects of patent law in the UK and overseas. I am primarily involved in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.  I also have a strong Supplementary Protection Certificate (SPC – patent term extension) practice and regularly navigate clients through the complex process of securing SPC protection.

Outside of work, I enjoy riding my motorbike, but can usually be found crawling in mud and climbing over obstacles.  I am lucky enough to have represented the UK at the Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) European and World Championships.
