I graduated with a Diploma in Biology from Freiburg University in 2011 before moving to the IP profession. My core expertise therefore includes biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

I qualified as a German Patent Attorney in 2015 and as a European Patent Attorney in 2017. I have experience in drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications in Germany, Europe and worldwide. My work also includes handling German and European opposition and appeal cases. Additionally, I have been involved in advising clients on patent filing strategies, freedom to operate and providing infringement and validity opinions.

Aside from patent work, I also have experience in advising clients on trademark matters at the German and EU trademark offices. I enjoy the variety and challenges of translating technology into law and vice versa, and advising clients of all shapes and sizes.

Outside of the office, I am a passionate traveler, book lover and chef of my home’s kitchen.
