I hold a BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Ghent, as well as an MSc in Advanced Pharmacology from the University of Strathclyde. During my undergraduate degree, I worked as a Hospital Pharmacy Assistant.

In my bachelor’s research project, I looked at the influence of extreme temperature on activity and quality of asparaginase, In my master’s research project, I determined the effects on CXCL12 production after IL-1b activated the non-canonical NF-κB signalling pathway.

I love the outdoors so weekends are mostly spent hiking or camping. The past 3 years I’ve been playing rugby; however, I haven’t found a team in Munich just yet.
