In 2018, I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a First Class Master’s degree in Chemistry with Pharmacology. My master’s project involved a synthesis of novel N-heterocyclic carbenes, which would be used as ligands for the transition metal catalysis.

Afterwards, I went on to do a PhD at Cardiff University, where my research focus was to explore bulky boron-based Lewis acids as transition metal-free catalyst alternatives in organic synthesis.

My technical background is in organic synthesis and catalysis, and medicinal chemistry.

In my spare time I play drums, and I also enjoy biking, badminton, and snowboarding.
