I am a member of our “Technology & Engineering” and our “Life Sciences & Chemistry” teams and therefore advise clients covering a wide spectrum of technologies.  I primarily advise on patent and design matters.

I am experienced in helping start-ups, SMEs and large corporations protect their innovations.  I also advise clients in relation to their freedom to operate.

One of my most satisfying moments was successfully revoking a European patent based on documents that were uncovered very late in the procedure.

Prior to joining the patent profession in 2007 I obtained first and second degrees in chemistry from the University of Manchester.
