COP27: technologies addressing the fight against climate change – energy-saving drives

Posted:

With climate change back on the agenda at COP27 – the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference – we look at some clients using technology to mitigate our impact on the planet.

Invertek Drives designs and manufactures variable frequency drives that are used to control motors, such as those found in pumps, in a wide variety of industrial and energy saving applications.

Invertek’s variable frequency drives control motors optimally, with the speed and torque of the motors matched to each specific application. This reduces energy consumption by ensuring that motors only run as fast and for as long as is required.

Invertek approached Forresters for assistance in protecting its technology and branding to secure the company’s position in the marketplace and gain an edge over its competitors.

Forresters worked closely with Invertek’s R&D team and filed patent applications to protect key aspects of the variable speed drive technology. Forresters also filed applications to register the company name as a trade mark.

Invertek has since expanded into a global business with local offices or sales partners covering eighty countries worldwide. Critically, Invertek’s Optidrive products reduce energy consumption and are helping combat climate change. Read more about the company’s drive for a cooler planet here.
